ABOUT
The Things I Wish I Could Tell You
Wren, a grieving woman, struggles to cope with a sudden loss in her life, as she reaches out leaving voicemails to someone who will never answer.
Based on a True Story
This project, released in four touching parts, is a very emotional and personal look at unresolved feelings and how putting them into words can be a form of healing.
Synopsis
Wren is confronted with a new reality, one which no longer includes her loved one as a support in her life. She looks through her old photos and home videos, resurfacing memories which now only serve as a reminder of what she has lost. Frustrated with her unresolved thoughts, Wren decides to reach out through the only way she feels she can, dialing her loved one's still-activated phone number. The story told through voicemail messages, follows Wren as she dials the number again and again, reminiscing about the past, revealing her regrets, and the things she never got to share. But not all of these words come so easily. Wren hesitates to admit her feelings and deal with the truth of what actually triggered this spiral of emotions.
